Learn to Swim - Beginners

Our progressive swimming programs work through a number of levels.

3+ Beginner – learning propulsion, breath control, floating, safety skills

4+Beginner – learning arms, propulsion, breathing, floating, safety skills 

Lessons are designed specifically to teach water safety skills, confidence in the water and beginner swimming skills. All lessons are time on task focused which means if the instructor is working a solo skill with one student the others in the group will have skills to practise while they wait.

At KSS AQUATICS, we assess students 3 times per term and all teachers have comprehensive notes on each student during lessons. At 30 minutes per lesson, sessions work to achieve good skill progression and maximum enjoyment.

Learn to Swim - Basics

Our progressive swimming programs work through a number of levels.

LTS – learning side breathing freestyle and backstroke, water safety and rescue.

LTS 1 – developing  bi-lateral freestyle, backstroke, water safety and rescue.

These levels develop swimming skills and extend the learning process to prepare for advanced learn to swim with a focus on water safety and all strokes.

At KSS AQUATICS, we assess students 3 times per term and all teachers have comprehensive notes on each student during lessons. At 30 minutes per lesson, sessions work to achieve good skill progression and maximum enjoyment. 

 

Learn to Swim - Advanced

Our progressive swimming programs work through a number of levels.

LTS 1 ADVANCED- Focus on refining freestyle, backstroke and arm/leg timing for breaststroke, introduction to butterfly kick, increased distance, water safety and life saving skills are still taught in all these levels.

LTS 2 – The final of our Learn to Swim levels .

All 4 strokes are taught & developed to allow your child to move to our Squad levels.

All our instructors hold the required Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification as well as the Competitive Strokes qualification which enables them to develop and instruct programs for children to adults.

Instruction from LTS 2 onwards is both in and out of the water.
